It was a challenge to fight climate change before the cost of living crisis, now it can feel even more overwhelming. But rising prices and stock shortages doesn’t mean we can’t still find sustainable options that are affordable, practical and available.

One of the big issues around sustainability is what’s been called the intent to action gap: it’s when we know we have to do something but because of numerous reasons we don’t do anything. We want to address this problem by making it as easy as possible to take sustainable action and offering incentives to switch to sustainable brands.  

We created the Conscience App because we wanted to make it easier and more rewarding for everyone to make better choices. Our aim is to encourage more of us to take the first step to more sustainable living and we can start by comparing brands and products to see which ones really offer the best value for our wallet and our planet. Making a switch to more sustainable and ethical brands can reduce carbon emissions and help us get closer to achieving net-zero targets.
